Questions about your items?

Describe unusual, heavy or connected items when requesting your quote.

What does Affordable Transfer remove?

We offer household junk removal, property cleanouts, appliance removal, yard debris hauling, light demolition, hot tub removal, construction debris removal and commercial cleanouts. Material delivery is also available for review. Share the items, location and access details so Affordable Transfer can confirm the accepted materials and scope.

Where do you provide junk removal?

Affordable Transfer is based in Modesto and serves the Central Valley, including Ceres, Turlock, Riverbank, Oakdale, Manteca, Ripon, Tracy and Stockton. Wider service areas include Merced, the foothills, Sacramento and parts of the Bay Area. Contact us with your address to confirm service and travel details.

How is junk removal priced?

Minimum pickup starts at $150. For normal household junk, we use estimated load size in an approximately 14.3-cubic-yard trailer as a guide, together with materials, labor, access, disposal and location. Heavy materials, construction debris, demolition, specialty disposal, excess labor, difficult access and long-distance jobs are quoted separately. Affordable Transfer approves the final price before work begins.

How do I request a pickup?

Call or text (209) 353-2514, or use the quote form when online requests are available. Share your city and what you need done; photos and access details can follow. Affordable Transfer reviews the estimate, and booking is confirmed after you accept it and availability is agreed. Sending an inquiry does not reserve a pickup time.

What are your business hours?

We are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific time, and closed Saturday and Sunday. Holiday availability may be limited and must be confirmed. Contact us to discuss available pickup times for your job.

Can I send pictures for a quote?

Yes. Text photos showing the entire pile or work area, with extra angles for larger jobs. Include stairs, gates, narrow passages and the route out, and disclose anything hidden behind, beneath or inside visible items. Photos and a description can support an estimate. Larger, unusual, heavy or difficult-access jobs may need an in-person visit.

Who confirms the final price?

Affordable Transfer reviews and approves estimates. A photo estimate is based on what can reasonably be seen and described. Additional items or substantially more material can change the quote, and any price adjustment is discussed before the additional material is removed.

Do you offer same-day or next-day service?

Same-day or next-day service may be available depending on the job, location and schedule. Contact us with your preferred timing so we can review availability. A service date or arrival time is confirmed during booking, not guaranteed by sending a request.

Is a deposit required?

Most jobs do not require a standard deposit. Larger projects, special circumstances or work involving significant upfront costs may require one. Any required deposit is explained before booking.

What items do you not accept?

We do not accept hazardous chemicals, medical waste, asbestos or live animals. Pianos and vehicles require individual review. Safes and other extremely heavy items depend on weight, location, stairs, access and safe handling; photos and job details are required before approval.

What should I do before a cleanout?

Set aside anything you want to keep, identify the items to remove and explain how the crew can access them. Mention stairs, narrow gates, parking restrictions and connected appliances. Confirm any preparation with us before moving heavy items yourself.

Can usable items be donated?

We donate usable items when practical and separate appropriate recyclable materials, including metal. Donation depends on the item’s condition and the receiving organization’s acceptance requirements. Items that cannot reasonably be reused, donated or recycled go to an approved disposal or transfer facility. We do not have a formal charity partnership or guarantee donation for every item.
